We all can see giving a gift like this to our husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, and children; but not like it is an annual tradition. After all, if we gave a gift this nice last year what are we going to do this year? We all have years that are better then others financially or health status and our gifts often reflect this. One good thing about loved ones is they are usually very forgiving and most understanding of our abilities and situations.

I have made a habit of giving the same kind of quality gift every year to most of my list, because I know it is wanted and appreciated, and this really simplifies the gifting process. Talk about a stress reliever. One of my constants that I give is a unique Christmas ornament, which I usually have personalized with date/year and a warm felt saying. I have 3 people on my list for this gift, because they collect these and really love my choices. They love that they are personalized too. One person is related to me, one is a friend and one is a long time business client, that I just found out by accident one Christmas at a Christmas party they had, that they were an avid collector of ornaments.

Because I have now given this client, seven ornaments, to date, they have shared many wonderful stories with me about their hobby and other ornaments. I have really cemented a business and friendship bond because of this. Deciding what to get those business clients every year is always a real challenge. Finding out what they are into and looking to find ways to give them something they like year after year can be rewarding for both.

Everyone will actually appreciate a personalized quality ornament because it shows that you actually are giving from the heart and creating more of a special memory from the gifting. It is amazing that even for non collectors of Christmas ornaments that these personalized ornaments will make it onto the Christmas tree year after year, and spark conversations of memories each time the tree is decorated.

This year I will give a really good client, that has paid me exorbitant amounts of money for my services a really expensive glass personalized ornament. I don’t know if they collect them or if they will appreciate its quality. But I do know they will feel the warmth of the saying and the untypical type of business gift that it is. Chances are they will get lots of wine, gift baskets, calendars and refrigerator magnets, but they may only get one Christmas ornament. Who knows, it may be the start of a new collecting hobby for them.

By the way this client was really really good and so they also will be getting a beautiful new passport wallet including 2 airplane tickets to Hawaii. I know they will love this!
