3 were directories which is one way to find sites with Christmas Gifts.
1 was a mall selling gifts that specific vendors were supplying
4 were article related sites which were not related to gifts.

That means 40% of the returned sites had little to do with “Christmas gifts”. Not much hope for the mom and pop stores because people rarely go past page 3 and seldom go past page 1.

If there wasn’t any junk there, we might make the top 20 for the term “Christmas Gifts“.

Okay, I am done whining now.

 After taking heat for using a private jet to go begging in Washington for a handout, GM has decided to make its’ flights private.

When does small business get their handout? We could use it since our business to business promotional gift sales are down.

All we can say is hooray.

In our continuing efforts to improve availability of promotional items for the small business community, make online ordering easier and to reduce the typical promotional products hidden costs and add on costs, we have eliminated setup charges for all of our promotional leather products for quantities of 51 or more effective February 23rd, 2007.

This will result in a $150 savings on the initial promotional products order. Further, we have eliminated the repeat order set up charge of $50 per order.

For orders with quantities of 1-50, we have reduced the setup charge from $150 to $50 (Savings of $100 on the initial order and $50 on repeat orders). This will result in more affordable solutions for the small business promotional products buyer.

Minimum quantities have been eliminated for most of our promotional products early last year except for a few leather items, the Norwood line and the Redline products.

This follows on the heels of eliminating setup charges completely for all of our crystal and glassware promotional products last year which as very favorably received by our clients. Many small businesses, educational institutions, health clinics and other smaller institutions took advantage of the free setup. Even the high end corporations have responded well.

Since recently, our marble and granite awards do not have a setup charge either; however the marble and granite promotional products still have a setup charge.

This, in addition, to our “free shipping on USA orders over $50″ policy, whether for 1 piece or 5000 pieces, favors our promotional products clients significantly.

Also, our artwork charges have been low since the beginning of 2006! We charge $20 to convert a jpg file to black and white vector art as compared to the typical $50 to $100 add on charges by most promotional product suppliers. The most we have charged for artwork is $50 which was to convert a photograph of a building.
